The Hart - Rollins Family (hearts) Papyrus

I finally went up to Stone Mountain Saturday. It's a huge ol' hunk of gravel in the middle of north Georgia, and they built a tourist trap around it. If you want history, this looked good. The link in the title is for the tourist trap stuff.

Georgia is one of those states that is home to the ten commandment crowd. It's a place where guys like Congressman Westmoreland here, featured in the following (awesome) Colbert Report show clip, depend on that kind of crowd.



He doesn't have to know them or believe in them. He just needs an ignorant constituancy that believes it and him when he says he does. After getting a good look at a good part of the crowd there at Stone Mountain though, it's easy to understand why they don't believe in evolution.
