Papyrus as a Logo (again)

So, I can't remember where I picked this up, but I have to say, the concept is as unique as Papyus is a distinctive miracle in my font library. They got all kinds of decorative fruit displays that would make excellent additions to the hors d'oeuvres table at parties if you have friends. (I said if)

and actually, if you want to see more Papyrus or find out more about these fruity bastards, you can visit their site here.

The Enclave Hearts Papyrus

Houses at the Enclaves used to start in the low 200's.

Yeah, you guesses it. The rest is (as they say) history.

Maybe it's cuz I'm hungry

But, both of these menus not only feature what reads like a delicious meal, they feature it with Papyrus. This first one is from Chin Chin:

Dude there has been cooking for as long as I've been alive. I think he can make a mean mo'fuggin' California Roll. This next one is from Doc Green's:

I'll have anything on there with Ranch.

Papyrus on Screen

Papyrus is used in the promos on Cartoon Network for Adult Swim's new show, Moral Orel.

Here, it's in the Intruder:

You can click the intruder pic to see Papyrus in action. It's action-packed action.

Short and Sweeter than Yoo-Hoo

So here's a little website for the Georgia Dance Conservatory. You have to conserve your dancing. Apart from having all the awesome I was looking for in animation, I can't help but think that, somehow, they aren't giving Papyrus the attention it really deserves.

Papyrus as an identifier

Webster's online American Dictionary defines logo like this:
"n. A name, symbol, or trademark designed for easy and definite recognition, especially one borne on a single printing plate or piece of type."

Now, as a desiger, I might say that a logo is a unique identifier and it is certainly an opportunity to communicate a lot about the nature of your company along with the name in a split second. Like a lot of companies, Pangea knows nothing sets you apart more than a logo consisting of the name of your business, in Papyrus.

But don't limit such exquisite beauty to the door!

Slap that shiznit on the menu inside, brutha!

Ain't too proud for tech

So, typically, Papyrus makes it's way into logos for soaps or some manner of vegan nonsense of some sort, and generally, anything you might consider old or earthen... I was pretty taken aback when I saw Papyrus is not above tech ads.

Is there anything Papyrus can't do?

BeeBar hearts Papyrus

I'm sure if there were a Bee Bar, they would probably serve mead.

This BeeBar stuff was at this high end Bath and Body Works rip off store full of lotion and tit shit. Papyrus was emblazoned upon a ton of stuff from them and what do you know,

the designer of the gift bag next to the BeeBar display hearts Papyrus too.

Happy?

Ecstatic!

Papyrus Love Down My Spine

So, if it was good enough for Evolution Home Theater, it's good enough for Family Chiropractic.

If you're at all familiar with the principles in branding/marketing, then you know consistency is key. For example, the McDonald's arch will never be purple and the Nike swoosh will never appear reversed, or smaller than a certain size. With Papyrus however, it's Papyrus, and it's limitless awesomeness requires only that you select it as your font when you select any font, and the consistency intrensic to successful marketing is omnipresent... or something.

Papyrus Pervasive to People Apart from Myself

I was looking around for info on the ubiquitous font we all know and love and I came across this. It's a pretty well written observation on Papyrus, it's use, and some history.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is doing a Gomukhasana (Cow Face Pose) over how much he hearts Papyrus

This flyer was down at the hippie health food store in Marietta. Oh man, they make a killer tempeh salad. Just look at the way Papyrus compliments Sri Sri's elegant countenance. I guess this guy is like the Elvis of Yoga. Also, I found this little site while researching yoga moves.

I'm not saying anything... just thought I'd share.

Glade (hearts) Papyrus

Santa there; not real. Jesus; negotiable. The use of Papyrus on that 2 pack of candles from Glade; very real. Papyrus keeps it real. Fireside moments indeed.

Home Theater + Papyrus = Awesome

Take a page from the design bible, and you'll have like a half a percent of what it takes to masterfully utilize Papyrus as not only a logo, but as the font on your door. Evolution cares about its customers and they prove it with the eye-candy, Papyrus orgasm shown here.

TOMO Restaurant hearts papyrus

This restaurant is right up the road from my apartment. As you can see, there is no need for a logo or any sort of additional visual beyond the name of the restaurant in God's gift to typography, Papyrus. TOMO... well done.
