Putting the "rad" in paradise
okay now, apart from the colors, they are being pretty consistent here. I went riding on Sunday (52 miles, ow!) and saw this sign along the way.

If yer ready to accept the fact that the ditch out front will not be eroding into a spectacular marvel in geological majesty, then you could (I said "could") call these guys and they'll build you a nifty little water garden. With a paradise watergarden waterfall, stream, or pond, you can attract mosquitoes and drown strays with an elegance and tranquility not found in regular standing water.

I'm sorry to say but I really loath that typeface (font).
Did you create it??? Is that why you have this website???
I specially hate it in green.

Is this blog some kind of sick joke? Please tell me it is.

I'm not sure how sick it is but yeah, this is kind of a joke. I mean, there's nothing wrong with the font. It certainly has it's place. But the idea behind the blog is to show how prevalent the font has become in various media. I suppose it's more of comment on the state of graphic design and (those who call themselves) designers by way of Papyrus.
When I think about it, I am forced to imagine a "designer" setting up some design, scrolling through their fonts, getting to Papyrus and going, "awwwww yeeeaaah! That's the one!" A flipside might be that there's some dude with Linotype FontXplorer installed and the only active font is Papyrus... which would be so suh-weeeet!
So by all means, send me more of it.
