While home for the holidays, I got to go to the West Side Market and one of the pastry merchants was making their treats look a lot more delicious with the help of our favorite font.

Analysts Predict Slump in Gingerbread Housing Market
With the passing of the holidays, you can count on sales in the gingerbread housing sector moving from slim, to none. All the chocolate frosted driveways, gumdrop mailboxes, or hot fudge tubs in the world can't save the industry, leaving ginger bread housing companies to cut back on new home production. Many of the dilapidated treats have been so poorly kept that they have fallen into disrepair, housing drug-addicted gingerbread men and women, and violent gummy bear gangs, often leading to rapes, robberies, and otherwise pointless attacks on happy-face cookies and teddy grahams.

Huh?
All I know is that thing was at Kroger, and they suck because half the crap I buy there seems a day away from expiration or past. Count on seeing the exact same gingerbread house next year.

Independent Film (hearts) Papyrus
A guy I recently had the pleasure of working with and subsequently getting herpes from has this movie he made (it's not that kind of movie) and a website. Not sure if Papyrus makes a cameo in the movie, but high and wide on the top of the site, lies this beauty:

Hey, it's never to early to get into the holiday spirit. Seth sent this in before Christmas (2006)
Papyrus....It's in myspace comments!

On Columbus Ohio band Kopaz's myspace, you can see more of the same.

Nothing is more Christmasy and loaded with Santa and baby Jesus-y goodness than Papyrus.

F Resolutions. Make Your Reservations!
After all, resolve is for presidents. We are weak- and hungry. So let's eat here:

I mean, I think that's a restaurant. Looks inviting!
Speaking of inviting,
this was the sky at twilight,
the last time I became convinced
that I would die
someday
soon.

Wait... That's for the other blog! Where I put this:
