Ron Paul's Birthday

Ron Paul, the liberty-minded "republican" (he's conservative on the issue of government) presidential candidate is celebrating a birthday today. There is a huge movement of people who have committed themselves to donating $25 dollars or more to the campaign today.

This is your reminder. I sent $50 his way this morning via the campaign site. That's my 4th donation.

Learn more about the whole thing at the campaign page or through a general search even.

He was always against the Iraq war, is against internet regulation, and very pro-personal freedom.

You should. He really is exceptional. Some quick facts:

- he declined his federal pensions and bonuses
- he's never utilized medicare for himself or his famil, as a doctor, he didn't accept it
- his positions on just about every issue have been just, and consistent
- he believes that given the freedom to excel, any one of us can
